I only sell the Deluxe kits with the better manifolds. The econo hpmx manifolds do not work with stock factory vw fan shrouds. Empi hpmx car kits type 1. Performance, reliability and race proven. Empi hpmx carbs offer ultimate engine tuning with total air and fuel metering and adjustment. The empi hpmx series have separate idle and main circuits featuring changeable air and fuel jets. Intake air is metered by changeable venturis, and the accelerator pump is adjustable for maximum acceleration. Jets, gaskets and repair parts are readily available. All kits are pre-jetted for vw engines. Choose the appropriate size carburetor for you application. 40 mm carbs for engines up to 1800cc, 44mm carbs for engines up to 2200cc. All kits feature aluminum hex bar with steel ball ends, sealed aircraft heim rod ends ball burnished polished offset aluminum intake manifolds, thick high strength steel linkage mounts, chrome air filters with high flow gauze elements, coil relocation mounts, brass fuel tee, detailed and illustrated instructions.
