New Redline twin IDF down draught intake manifold and linkage kit to suit Holden Gemini with G series or 4Z series engines. I ncluding linkage kit and carb mounting studs & gaskets. 2 x Brand new reproduction (not genuine European) Weber style FAJS 40IDF down draught carbs - with chrome ram tubes and fitting kits! Holden Gemini - models TX(1975) to TG(1985).

With G 161, G180 and G200 engines. These 40mm carbs are ideal for stock to worked 1600cc engines, up to mild 1800cc and 2000cc engines. However for worked/modified 1800cc and 2000cc engines, the larger 44mm 44IDF carbs would be a better choice. Although the intake manifold is designed for the G series engine in the Gemini engine bay, it can possibly be used in other engine bays, such as Rodeo or Jackaroo, Chev Luv, etc. However we can not confirm clearance with brakes, shock tower, etc. Shorter ram tubes or air cleaners might be required. NOTE #1: This kit will clear the brake master cylinder and fluid reservoirs on on all model TX-TG geminis. No swapping or modifications to the brake master cylinder or fluid reservoirs is required. 1 x Redline Gemini intake manifold.

1 x Redline Gemini linkage kit & fitting instructions. 2 x Reproduction FAJS 40IDF. Carbs - pre-jetted to suit your engine. 4 x 57mm tall chrome ram tubes and fitting kits.

4 x IDF base gaskets. 1 x IDF carb install kit - carb mounting studs, fuel hose tails, etc.

1 x Redline Gemini heater hose fitting kit - to retain the heater in your car (see photos above). All parts are brand new in box.

Itted with 57mm chrome ram tubes and fitting kits. Air cleaners with high flow cotton gauze filter elements are available as an alternative instead of the air horns. NOTE #2: Although we usually try and keep all parts for this kit in stock, we also sell these kits on our website, and sometimes we run out of stock, and it take 2-3 days to get new stock from our supplier. So if you're in urgent need of a kit, message us first to confirm if we have it in stock, otherwise, there might be a short delay in getting the kit sent out to you. It features ball bearing throttle shafts for smooth operation, and fully adjustable idle and main circuits, so you can have economical cruising, whilst still being able to get ideal mixtures for maximum power under full throttle.

The IDF carbs are hard to beat for bang for your buck. Instead of us giving a full description here, just google 44IDF and you'll find more info than you will have time to read. As you can see in the photos, we have a large assortment of jets, and can custom tune to your application, providing we have the target specs. Choke size changes are an extra cost. As with any carb swap, we can only take an educated guess at the jet sizes your engine will need, so even though the carbs should run quite well out of the box with the base jetting we supply, once fitted to your engine, fine tuning will be needed to optimise power and economy.

8 x mains would give you a set of leaner and richer jets for twin carbs. 16pc jet kit would give you a set of leaner and richer main, and idle jets, or air correctors. Base jetting can be calculated and installed. This will get your engine up and running and should be close to what you need, minimising fine tuning time and cost.
