Vintage first-generation Orlite M76 Israeli helmet 1970s IDF Zahal. This is a vintage, authentic, issued, first generation IDF M76 combat helmet made of Glass Reinforced Plastic as used by IDF units from 1976.

Please note that this is the first model issued, not an export model or a later M76/85 Kevlar helmet and it has the same three-point chinstrap with leather chincup as the IDF M1 helmets. There is no plastic side-release buckle as found on later or export models. This particular helmet was supplied by Israel to the Lebanese Forces (Kataeb) Christian militia, was acquired in Beirut in 1988 and has been in my personal possession ever since.

It is in very good used condition with some wear to the paint as would be expected from a piece of kit used in combat. Matching Ephod web vest is available for sale in my other items.
