Pair of Weber IDF40 Carburetors (Spain) for Porsche 914, VW Type 4 Bus Transporter. (could be used on VW Bug using different manifolds).

Made in Spain (not Chinese Empi clones). Manifolds are for VW type 4 style engine or Porsche 914. The intake manifolds will fit all type 4 heads including the 3-post 914 2 liter heads. I do not have crossbar linkage available for this set.

I actually would recommend getting the cable-cam style set-ups offered by places like Tangerine racing. These carbs have been completely disassembled, cleaned, passageways.

Cleaned, lastly pressure air solvent cleaned. The rebuild kits came from the Weber dealer in Gilroy, CA (awesome shop). The internal venturi's are marked (28) which is probably best used on a 1.7/1.8 car and may not be enough flow for a 2.0. The floats were set with a 32mm drop and 10.5mm rest. The brand new mixture screws are 1.5 turns out from full-in. The other air-bleed screws next to the mixture screws are set full-closed. Both air filters cleaned and re-treated with K&N filter oil.
