Original 1956 Haggadah written and illustrated by Arieh Allweil. Moses protecting the Israelites in the desert is here echoed by Janusz. Korczak protecting the orphans in his care in the Warsaw ghetto, all of whom were murdered at Treblinka, with Korczak refusing to leave the children in his care. The Exodus from Egypt recalls the exodus from the ghettos, from the Shoah.
