McDonnell Douglas F-4E Kurnass, IDF/AF 201st (One) Squadron, #109, Tel Nof Air Base, Israel, 1974, 1:72, Hobby Master. The first F-4Es were delivered to the Israel Air Force in 1969 and were nicknamed Kurnass (Sledgehammer) and RF-4Es were called Orev (Raven). These aircraft were made up of ex-USAF and new aircraft. Israel became the largest non-US operator of the F-4. McDonnell F-4E Phantom II 69-7241 Msn 3912 was transferred to the Israel Air Force in 1970 as serial 119 and then 109 and even later 519.

Improvements to the F-4E began in 1980 that would make the aircraft even more lethal and this is when the term Kurnass became official. Scale: 1/72 Wingspan: 11.60 cm. Hobby Master's "Air Power Series" features highly detailed diecast models. Fully assembled and factory decorated. Very heavy metal with a minimum of plastic.
