Beautiful Art Nouveau Martelé silver compote. Made by Gorham in Providence on August 16, 1917. Shallow bowl with alternating big and small lobes; shoulder same with leaves and flowers overlapping and entwined in strapwork frames. Baluster shaft on raised and same foot.

Fully marked including pattern no. Dimensions: H 5 1/4 x D 10 1/4 in. Weight: 27.5 troy ounces.
