Idf Zahal Chief of General Staff MOFAZ Silver Gift. Israel Army HaZorfim Judaica

  

This is a very rare authentic Israeli Army, Israel Defense Forces Idf / Zahal unique item. It is a folding holder for 3 photo's (which can be placed on a desk) and which was given in 1999 by the Israeli Army Chief of the General Staff (RAMATKAL) Lieutenant General Shaul Mofaz. This unique item has three 925 sterling silver plates (not silver plated) ornamented and engraved as follows. Plate #1 (the front plate): the peace dove holding an olive branch and above it the wording in Hebrew.

"Yours, Lieutenant General Shaul Mofaz (signiture) 1999". Plate #2 (the inside plate): the peace dove again holding the symbol of peace - an olive branch. Plate #3 (the outside back plate): in the center is engraved the official IDF insignia symbol and above it the wording in Hebrew. "From Zahal (Idf) with love". And beneath it the wording in Hebrew. "The right for respect and the obligation to honor". These silver plates and ornamentings were made by'HaZorfim' (an Israeli known and prestigious worldwide leader of silversmith items) and all three plates are marked with their logo and with the 925 silver mark.

Measures when closed 6.7x5.1 inches (17x13cms) and when open the total length is 16.2/41cm. I will gladly answer any question that you might have or send you more photo's.
