USSR-East Germany-Israel Soviet Era Type II Bayonet w Scabbard IDF 1970s-80s

  

Up for sale is a. With Scabbard that was designed in USSR. East Germany (GDR / DDR) in the 1970's or early 1980's and. Made its way to Israel via one of the Middle Eastern countries most likely during the First Lebanon War in the 1982. Some will say that this is a surreal scenario, but in this part of the world even One Thousand and One Nights tales might be real events.

It comes with a metal and plastic Scabbard. Knife's overall length is approx. 27 cm / 10.62 inches.

It is unknown to me which type of steel was used for its manufacturing. It has a durable plastic and metal handle in black tone and its straight edge blade is approx. 14.5 cm / 5.70. 152147 and the IDF different marks on both sides of the blade. 205217 and the IDF mark on 1 side. This item is original and not a replica and it is offered for sale AS-IS without cleaning or polishing as a collectible item for display only. Previously used, there are signs of light wear on the blade, and medium wear on the handle and on the scabbard. Also, it wasn't cleaned or polished and accumulated dust and sand and even scabbard needs to be cleaned properly for it contains sand and oil inside it. If you are in doubt please check my feedback.
